Education and Academic Career
Iryna’s journey in linguistics began at the Kamianets-Podilskyi State Pedagogical Institute, where in 1987–1992 she obtained a degree with honours as a lecturer of Russian and English language and literature. Already during her studies she was deeply interested in the methodology of teaching foreign languages, the precision of wording and working with texts of different genres.
In 1998 Iryna defended her PhD thesis in “Military Pedagogy and Psychology”, obtaining the degree of Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences (PhD).
