Document translation in Mykolaiv, Lviv Oblast

This page is about Mykolaiv in Stryi Raion, Lviv Oblast, a town near the Dniester about 40 km by road from Lviv. Our office here is at 10 Ivana Franka Street, near the kindergarten. You can bring your documents in or start by sending photos. The city of Mykolaiv, the centre of Mykolaiv Oblast, has a separate page.

Mykolaiv is known for its cement plant and building materials industry, so most of this page is about documents connected with work. People need these translations when they take a job abroad, prove their experience to a new employer or apply for a pension. We also translate any other documents, from passports to contracts and equipment manuals.

Diplomas and qualifications for work abroad

To prove your qualification in another country, you usually submit your diploma together with its supplement. We translate diplomas from vocational schools, colleges and universities, and in the supplement every subject, the hours or credits and the grade. Stamps, seals and notes on the back are translated as well.

We spell your name exactly as it appears in your international passport, so please add a photo of it. If the country asks for an apostille on the diploma, the Ministry of Education and Science issues it. The ministry also has a faster option. Recognition of your qualification is decided by the authority in that country, and we are responsible for an accurate translation with the right certification. There is more about diplomas and school certificates on the Educational documents page.

Employer certificates and employment record books

Work experience is confirmed by a certificate from your employer or by your employment record book (trudova knyzhka). A translated certificate shows the company name, your position and period of employment, as well as the stamp and the director's signature. In the record book we translate every entry on hiring, transfer to another post or dismissal, together with the number and date of the order.

Our editor checks every date and number against the original, because one wrong digit changes your length of service. If the job involves driving, you may also need a translation of your driving licence.

Statements obtained without a power of attorney

OK-5 and OK-7 statements from the Pension Fund of Ukraine confirm length of service, for example for a pension. They show your earnings and insurance record. We obtain them without a power of attorney, so you do not have to travel anywhere. We also get a tax residency certificate from the tax office and a pensioner's income certificate. A tax ID number can be obtained remotely.

Once the documents arrive, we can translate them straight away. Through us you can also request a duplicate civil registry certificate, a copy of a court decision or an education document. Other options are listed on the Document Retrieval page.

Sometimes it is the other way round, and a certificate or contract issued abroad has to go to a Ukrainian institution. We translate such a document into Ukrainian, often with the translator's signature certified by a notary. Whether it also needs an apostille depends on the issuing country, and your manager will tell you.

How translations are certified

A translation with the agency stamp is enough for many institutions. When a notarised translation is required, the translator signs it and a notary confirms that the signature is authentic. Consulates, courts and state bodies, in Ukraine as well as abroad, frequently request this. In some cases Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, France and other countries accept only a sworn or accredited translation, and we can arrange one.

For countries of the Hague Convention, a Ukrainian document is certified with an apostille. Which ministry issues it depends on the document. The Ministry of Education and Science handles diplomas and school certificates, while the Ministry of Justice handles civil registry certificates, court decisions and notarial documents. Criminal record certificates are apostilled by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and all other documents by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We take the documents to the ministry ourselves, so you do not need to be there. Countries outside the convention require consular legalisation, first at Ukrainian ministries and then at the consulate, and we handle that as well.

What a diploma or certificate translation costs

The translation of a standard document starts at UAH 250. For a diploma with its supplement or a record book, the price depends on the volume. Your manager will quote the exact amount and deadline from the photos before you pay. A rough figure is available on the Pricing page.

Diplomas, passports and certificates are usually ready in about 1 working day. An urgent order can be done in a few hours or take 1–2 working days, depending on the language and how much text there is. Certification at a ministry and sworn translation have their own timescales, which your manager also gives in advance.

Photos, payment and delivery

Photograph the document in daylight without a flash, with the whole page, stamps and signatures in the shot. Take any stamps on the back as a separate photo. Send the photos via Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp or to info@admiral.com.ua, and say straight away which country and institution the translation is for.

You will get a reply in messengers any day from 9:00 to 21:00, and we take calls Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00. You can pay by link with a card from any bank, via PayPal or by bank transfer. The translation arrives as a file, and a stamped paper copy is sent by Nova Poshta, also abroad. If we need the original, your manager will suggest how to get it to us.
