Medical document translation in Nemyriv

For treatment or a consultation abroad, we translate medical documents into the language the doctor asks for. We also work the other way round: foreign discharge summaries and prescriptions are translated into Ukrainian so that a doctor in Ukraine can read them. In Nemyriv, Admiral takes orders at 19 Himnaziina Street, opposite the Oriiana stationery shop, but you can also simply send photos of the documents.

Since 2008 the agency has translated to and from more than 50 languages, most often English, Polish and German in both directions. If you are not sure which language you need, ask the doctor you are going to see and pass the answer on to your manager. If you are in a hurry, urgent translation is available from a few hours.

Which medical documents we translate

We translate any medical documents. These include:

  • doctors' reports and hospital discharge summaries;
  • case histories;
  • results of tests, ultrasound, MRI, CT and other examinations;
  • foreign discharge summaries and prescriptions.

The translation keeps the structure of the document: sections, tables of results, signatures and stamps. If a record is handwritten, photograph it as clearly as possible so that the text is easy to read. If you also need a passport or a child's birth certificate translated along with the medical documents, it can all go into one order. You can read more about this area on the medical document translation page.

Figures, units and drug names

In a medical text, one wrong figure or unit changes the meaning. That is why, after the translator, an editor checks the document against the original: figures, units of measurement, dates and drug names. A native speaker proofreads the text when needed. The translation conveys exactly what the doctor wrote, and only a doctor can explain a diagnosis or treatment.

Throughout the order, your manager answers questions, watches the deadline and tells you when the work is done. The agency's work is certified under ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100:2015. Medical translations also come with a lifetime guarantee: we will always meet you halfway, whatever the situation.

Urgent translation before a consultation

If a consultation or hospital admission has already been scheduled, give us the date in your first message. Depending on the language and the number of pages, an urgent translation takes from a few hours up to 1–2 working days. A single discharge summary takes less time than a case history running to dozens of pages. Your manager quotes the exact deadline from the photos before you pay. The translation arrives as a file, ready to forward to the doctor abroad straight away.

A foreign discharge summary for a doctor in Ukraine

After treatment abroad, people come home with a discharge summary, prescriptions and test results in a foreign language. We translate them into Ukrainian so that a doctor in Ukraine can read the diagnosis, the course of treatment and the prescribed medicines. Tables of test results in the translation keep the same parameters, units and reference ranges as the original. If the translation will also go to an institution, tell your manager, because that determines whether certification is needed.

Agency stamp, notary and apostille

Plenty of institutions accept a translation that carries the agency stamp. For institutions that require a notarised translation, the translator signs it and a notary certifies the authenticity of the signature. An institution in Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia or France may require a sworn or accredited translation, and we can arrange that too.

A Ukrainian document gets an apostille when it goes to an institution in a Hague Convention country that asks for one. Your manager will tell you if your certificate needs it, and the procedure itself is described on the Apostille page.

How to photograph and send your documents

Use daylight from a window and no flash. The edges of the sheet, the stamps and the signatures should all fit in the shot. If there are stamps on the back, add that side too. Do not skip a page that has only a signature and a stamp on it. If the translation is for a doctor abroad, also add a photo of your international passport, so that your name in the translation matches it.

You can order document translation without coming in: send the photos via Telegram, Viber, WhatsApp or to info@admiral.com.ua. We answer messages every day from 9:00 to 21:00, and phone lines are open Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00. Payment is by link with a card from any bank. We will send the translation as a file, and if you need paper with stamps, we will post it by Nova Poshta, including abroad.
