Terms of use

These terms explain how to use the admiral.com.ua website and how Admiral Translation Bureau provides its services. By using the website and ordering services, you agree to them. How we process your data is described in the Privacy policy.

About us

Admiral is a private translation bureau, not a government agency. The bureau’s legal entity is ADMIRAL PRIME LLC, EDRPOU code 37602140, 41 Pylypchuka St., Khmelnytskyi, Ukraine. The service under a specific order is provided by ADMIRAL PRIME LLC or by a sole proprietor (FOP) working with the bureau. The provider is stated in the invoice, the contract or on the payment page. At Admiral partner offices in other cities, orders are accepted by our partners: other companies and entrepreneurs.

Apostilles are issued by ministries, translators’ signatures are certified by notaries, and legalisation is carried out by ministries and consulates. We prepare the documents and submit them for you, but the decisions and timelines of these bodies do not depend on us.

Information on the website

• Prices on the website are regular “from” prices, without urgency. The manager quotes the exact price and deadline after seeing the document and agrees them with you before payment. Prices on the website are not a public offer.
• The calculator on the Prices page gives an approximate amount.
• Encyclopedia articles and FAQ answers are general information, not legal advice. Requirements for the translation and certification are set by the institution where you submit the document, so please check them there.
• We make sure the information is accurate, but laws, institutions’ rules and prices change. If you notice an error, please let us know.

How we provide our services

1. You send a photo or scan of the document in a messaging app or by email, or bring the document to an office.
2. The manager quotes the price, the deadline and the options for certification and delivery.
3. You pay: by card via LiqPay (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay), with a payment link in your bank’s app, via PayPal, by bank transfer or in cash at an office. Companies pay to the account of ADMIRAL PRIME LLC against an invoice.
4. We start work on the order after payment.
5. We send the finished translation as a file (PDF) by email or in a messaging app. We send the paper copy by Nova Poshta in Ukraine or abroad, or you can collect it at an office. Delivery is paid separately.

The price and deadline in a payment link are valid for the time shown on the payment page. If you pay later, the completion date may shift.

By ordering and paying for a service, or by confirming the manager’s offer, you agree to these terms and to what we agreed for your order: price, deadline, scope, certification and delivery method. With companies we sign a written contract, and its terms then apply.

We count text volume in pages of 1,800 characters with spaces; standard documents (certificates, passports, diplomas) are priced per document. VAT is not added to the price.

What we need from you

• Clear photos or scans of the whole document: numbers, names and stamps must be visible.
• The spelling of names in Latin letters as in your international passport, if you have one.
• The requirements of the institution where you submit the document: the certification needed, apostille, format.
• Correct information and timely payment.
• The right to give us the document: if the document concerns another person, you act on their behalf or with their consent.

If you change the task or send a different document after work has started, the price and deadline may change. We will agree this with you.

What we do

• We complete the order within the agreed time and keep you informed of its progress.
• We involve translators and editors and, where needed, notaries and sworn translators. If we entrust a translation to another translator, we remain responsible to you for it.
• We keep the originals you give us safe and return them to you.
• We keep the contents of your documents confidential. On request, we will sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
• Lifetime warranty: if an error turns up in our translation, we will correct it free of charge or compensate you financially, no matter when we did the translation.

Cancellation and refunds

• You can cancel an order at any time. You then pay for the work already done on the day of cancellation and the costs we have already incurred for your order, and we refund the rest.
• If you paid too much or twice, we will refund the difference.
• If the result does not match what we agreed, write to info@admiral.com.ua with the order number, what is wrong and, if needed, photos or files. We will check the work and reply within 7 working days. First we will correct it free of charge, and if it cannot be corrected, we will refund the cost of that service.
• You can request a refund within 14 calendar days of receiving the finished order. We correct errors in our translations free of charge at any time.
• We refund money by the same method you used to pay: to the same card (including payments made through LiqPay) or account. How long it takes depends on the bank, usually 5–10 working days.

Liability

• If you suffer a loss because of our error, we compensate it up to the cost of the relevant service, unless the law requires otherwise.
• We are not responsible for the decisions of institutions to accept or reject documents, or for the timelines of public authorities, notaries, Nova Poshta and banks.
• We are not responsible for the consequences of inaccurate or incomplete information you give us, such as an incorrect spelling of a name.
• Force majeure circumstances provided by law release us from liability. In that case we will inform you and agree how to proceed.
• The website is provided “as is”. We try to keep it available at all times, but interruptions due to maintenance or failures are possible.

Website content

• The texts, photos, graphics and design of the website are protected by copyright law. You may quote them with a link to the page. Copying materials to other websites or for sale without our written permission is not allowed.
• Names and logos of institutions, companies and payment systems belong to their owners and are shown for information only, for example about our clients or payment methods.
• Do not try to disrupt the website: hack it, overload it with automated requests or bypass its protection.

Links to other websites

The website contains links to messaging apps, Google Maps, LiqPay and PayPal payment pages and other websites. Their owners are responsible for their content and data processing rules.

Correspondence and notifications

We send information and files about your order to the channel you contacted us through: a messaging app or email, and we may also send an SMS about the shipment. We consider emails from our @admiral.com.ua addresses and from the address you contacted us from to be official correspondence about the order.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. We first try to resolve disputes through negotiation: write to us and we will reply. If we cannot reach an agreement, the dispute is decided by a court under the law of Ukraine.

If you are a consumer, these terms do not limit the rights the law gives you, including the law of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. A new version applies from the date shown at the top of the page. For orders already paid, the terms agreed at the time of payment apply.
