What the deadline is made of

When your manager names a completion date, they take four things into account.

  • Language. It affects how long an urgent translation takes, so name the target language in your first message.
  • Volume. A one-page certificate and a contract of several dozen pages take different amounts of time.
  • Certification. We add the agency stamp together with the translation, while a notarised translation also needs the translator's signature at a notary.
  • Apostille. It is issued by a ministry, and the ministry's processing time is added to the translation deadline.

What is usually ready within a working day

A certificate, passport or diploma is usually translated in about one working day, even without an urgent order. If you need the translation today, say so in your first message and add the time by which you must have the document. Your manager checks the language and volume and confirms the deadline before payment. We send the file as soon as the editor finishes checking it. Send several documents for one person together, and your manager will give one deadline for the whole set. More about translating passports, certificates and driving licences is on a separate page.

What takes longer

Civil registry certificates and extracts get their apostille from the Ministry of Justice. For diplomas and school certificates, it is the Ministry of Education and Science. The ministry's processing time is added to the translation deadline. The Ministry of Education and Science has a fast-track option, so if your date is close, ask your manager about it. Approximate timeframes for each ministry are on the Apostille page, and we file the documents there ourselves, so you do not need to attend.

For countries outside the Hague Convention, consular legalisation is needed instead: Ukrainian ministries certify the document first, then the consulate of the destination country does. It involves more steps, and we take care of it as well.

We also arrange sworn translation when a country requires it, for example Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia or France. Its timeframe depends on the country, so your manager gives it in advance to let you plan your submission.

Nostrification, the recognition of a foreign diploma or school certificate in Ukraine, takes the longest. The decision of the Ministry of Education and Science takes from 1 to 3 months, so it is better not to delay. We provide advice, translate the documents, submit them to the ministry and arrange legalisation if needed. Details are on the Nostrification page.

How not to lose time

To avoid spending a day on clarifications, send everything you need in your first message. Take each photo in daylight, without a flash, keeping all edges, stamps and signatures visible, and include the reverse side if it carries stamps. Name the country and institution that will receive the translation, plus the exact date you need it by. A photo of your international passport helps too, because names in the translation will then match it.

Sometimes the document you need is not at hand, for example a certificate has been lost. We can request a duplicate from the civil registry office for you and then submit it straight away to the Ministry of Justice for certification. This is a separate stage with its own timeframe, so start with it.

Paying online with any bank card, via PayPal or by bank transfer means work can start without a trip to the office. The finished file arrives straight away, while the stamped paper copy travels by Nova Poshta, abroad too. When we need the original, your manager will say how to send it. Photos can be sent in the evening as well, since we answer messengers daily from 9:00 until 21:00. Phone calls are taken on weekdays from 9:00 to 18:00.

How much translation costs in Novoukrainka

With us, a standard document costs from UAH 250. Language, volume and certification shape the final sum, which your manager calculates from the photo and gives you along with the deadline, ahead of payment. The office on Soborna Street and nearby towns

Admiral's Novoukrainka office is at 98 Soborna Street, the town's main street. It is in the area of the central market, where the Fainomarket store is now. Before visiting, check the opening hours in the office details on this page, which also have a Directions button for Google Maps.

Who keeps track of the deadline

Your manager watches the deadline, answers questions and tells you the moment the translation is ready. The translation itself is done by a translator, after which an editor compares figures, dates, names and stamps with the original. Urgent orders do not skip this step. A native speaker joins in when needed.

Admiral has been in business since 2008 and holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 17100:2015 certificates. We work with more than 50 languages, and English, Polish and German come up most often, in both directions. Even when the deadline is very tight, a lifetime guarantee applies: we will always meet you halfway, whatever the situation.
