Many thanks for the fast, high-quality work! I ordered an apostille on a document, and they handled everything from start to finish, on time and without unnecessary red tape. The service is excellent, and the managers were always available and answered all my questions clearly and quickly. I recommend them to anyone who values their time!

We had a sworn translation done. We really liked the service, the prices are reasonable and the manager is great: we had questions and she explained everything well. The originals were sent by Nova Poshta, everything fast and well done. Recommended!!!

Family matters in another country usually start with certificates. When a couple registers a marriage abroad or a family moves there, the institution asks for translated birth and marriage certificates. Sometimes it also wants divorce or name change certificates. The Admiral translation agency in Radekhiv handles document translation for the whole family, certifies it and submits the certificates to the Ministry of Justice.
The Radekhiv office is at 3 Lesi Ukrainky Street, near the Shchedryi Koshyk shop and a florist's workshop. It closes for a lunch break, so please check the opening hours in the card above before you visit. You can also order without a visit, from photos of your documents.
When we translate documents for several members of one family, the surname must be spelt the same way everywhere. A difference of even one letter can lead to unnecessary questions at an institution. That is why we ask for photos of the international passports of everyone named in the documents. We spell first names and surnames exactly as they appear there.
A family set is easier to translate together: a child's birth certificate, the parents' marriage certificate and a name change certificate, if there is one. The editor then checks the figures, dates and stamps against the originals and also makes sure the names match across all the translations. There is a separate page about personal documents translation, from passports to driving licences.
A foreign institution that registers a marriage may ask you to confirm that you are not currently married. Without a power of attorney, we obtain the statement confirming that a person is not married and then translate it if necessary. We will also translate your birth certificate and, if a previous marriage ended in divorce, the divorce certificate.
The list of documents for a marriage differs from country to country; check it with the institution where you will register. Consulates and foreign institutions often ask for a notarised translation, which carries the translator's signature certified by a notary. For many other institutions the agency stamp is enough.
If a certificate is lost or damaged, the civil registry office issues a duplicate, which we can retrieve for you. The same goes for a certificate that has survived but is so worn that it is hard to read. This is how we obtain duplicate birth, marriage, divorce and death certificates, as well as civil registry extracts.
From Ukrainian archives we obtain, without a power of attorney, archival birth records and copies of civil register entries that show nationality and religion. If the documents we obtain are going abroad, we have them apostilled.
For Hague Convention countries, the apostille on civil registry certificates and statements is issued by the Ministry of Justice. We hand them in ourselves; you do not have to visit the ministry. For how long the procedure takes, see the Apostille page. For countries that have not joined the convention, we arrange consular legalisation, first at Ukrainian ministries and then at the country's consulate.
A foreign certificate, for example of a child's birth or a marriage abroad, is translated into Ukrainian for use in Ukraine. A notary often certifies the translator's signature afterwards. Such a certificate does not always need an apostille. Legal assistance treaties between Ukraine and a number of countries remove that requirement, and your manager will check if that applies to your certificate.
Translating a certificate usually takes about one working day. Urgently, a certificate can be ready within a few hours, or within 1–2 working days if the language or the volume calls for it. Prices start at UAH 250 for a standard document. Your manager will name the amount for your documents and the deadline as soon as they see the photos, before any payment. For a rough estimate, use the Pricing page.
Photograph the certificates by daylight with the flash off, keeping the whole page in the frame: edges, stamps, signatures. Photograph the back with any stamps as well. You can drop the pictures into Viber, WhatsApp or Telegram, or use email (info@admiral.com.ua). Tell us straight away where you will submit the translation: the country and the institution. We reply in messengers daily, 9:00–21:00, and you can call Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00.
Pay with any bank card through the link we send, or use PayPal or a bank transfer. The finished translation comes to you as a file, and Nova Poshta will deliver the stamped paper copy, including abroad. When the original certificate itself is needed, you will hear from the manager how to get it to us.
After the translator, an editor checks every translation against the original; a native speaker joins in when needed. A manager leads your order from the first message to completion and answers your questions. We have been in business since 2008 and work in more than 50 languages. The agency's certificates: ISO 17100:2015 and ISO 9001:2015. All translations are covered by a lifetime guarantee: we will always meet you halfway, whatever the situation.
